U2 - Your Blue Room (Live from Chicago) Great Audio! 9/13/09

U2 performing "Your Blue Room" for the first time ever at the second North American U2 360 Tour show in Chicago on September 13th, 2009.

This song was written 14 years ago and appeared on the "Passengers - Original Soundtracks 1" album, as well as a b-side to the "Staring at the Sun" single.

I filmed this from inside the inner circle with my digital camera and mixed in the sound from an audience recording. Thanks to ademotte and u2torrents for the audio.

I apologize for the start being cut off but my Canon SD500 autofocused incorrectly and cannot be changed once filming has started! I need a new camera for my next U2 360 show!

This is very good audio. Pretty nice rendition of a song that I wouldn't instantly pick as stadium friendly. U2 has great confidence in their songs. They can go through a show and not play a track like 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' or 'Pride' and it doesn't matter. They don't rest on their laurels.

I was there, and in addition to that, this song, if you listen to the studio version, is a VERY difficult one to sing, as it is not really sung...a most unusual song...and then there is Adams' part at the end...let me just say that this is another example of some of U2's finest works.....I love U2 because often their songs fly under the radar...but are spectacular nonetheless....

I was at this show (my first ever) and I don't know if I should be glad I heard Your Blue Room in its first ever live performance, or sad that I missed Pride because of it. Either way I win, I guess.
