Jagger is promoting Peter Tosh's music at this time. He doesnt want to overshadow him. I saw them both on the Stones' Some Girls tour, in Anaheim CA.. along with Etta James.
The Stones shot Peter Tosh into stardom, and deservedly so. Also, saw Peter Tosh at the Roxy in Hollywood. He was quite unique & had a very strong character...and had a bright, colorful style about him.
