Jan Freidlin "Gothic Stained Glass Windows"-III

"Gothic Stained Glass Windows" ( 1985 ) by Jan Freidlin consist 3 "Vitrages" written for Flute , Piano & String Quartet.. During the first performances (by Odessa Contemporary Music Ensemble) the musicians were shifting on the stage among 3 vitrages creating a visual illusion of the renewed "vitrages" . Also they have " sung" together with their playing that has given a very specific and unexpected atmosphere of every listener presence on the stage .
On this video one may watch the performance just of III-rd "Vitrage" which has taken place at Tel Aviv Museum of Art 1 May of 1999 . The performers - "XXI century music Ensemble ( Jerusalem ) under a baton of Zsolt Nagy ( Hungary ) . There are "Chimes" , "Ricercar" & "Madrigal" .
