Posted this one mainly so that everyone could see the Sabena 747 and the Eastern Airlines planes. Ah, the memories.
Heavily edited because of some really wild camera gyrations during taping. Many great shots were ruined because I did not hold the camera steadily :(

  • Yes that one sounds odd.

  • @FelixMies Hmm, that is wierd. Almost like the pilots thought they needed more power, than back again. Or, their hand just slipped and it moved the levers forward.

  • Love the Sabena. Wish they were still around.

Love the MD-88 whine. Glad they're still around.

  • I remembered Sabena 747's, but rather 300's... Surpising to see a -100 or -200 type!

  • ♥_♥

  • When was this? I remember Sabena DC-10s at ATL but not 747s - for years the only passenger 747s at ATL were those of KLM. Delta briefly flew them in the early 70s but Eastern never had the type at all, and most international flights were DC-10s.

  • @klvlieg deffinitely***

  • @klvlieg Haha deffinetley not what it is now! Im sure they had coke, water, peanuts, and the joy of lookin gout of a window. :D

  • Thanks for posting these older videos. It's nice to take a step back in time.

  • great video! where were you going from ATL? do you remember what the onboard service was? thanks!
