I personally think this is some of Falling Up's best work. Yes it will be criticized by those who do not read between the lines and don't specifically hear God mentioned. I think they have really branched out creatively in this album and that's why I like it soo much. For everyone bashing the album go read the interviews With Jessy. They haven't converted or anything this is just an extension of his creativity as an artist.

@punk4godx20 Why does it MATTER? I honestly don't care if they're a Christian band or not, I listen for the music. This is why I normally don't listen to Christian bands, because people get all worked up about them needing to stick permanently to certain ways, which in all honesty, is exclusive. Let them be.

I dislike this song; why should Christians have anything to do with other gods/goddesses? Metaphorically or not, I believe Christians should stay as far away from "godless myths and old wivestales" as possible.
"Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives’ tales; rather, train yourself to be godly." 1 Timothy 4:7 (NIV)

I think this is the best band there great at what they do and i hope they stay strong and keep making songs.

in christian wise, if you sing christian songs you don't turn your back on god, why be christian if you do stuff that ain't christian. and i don not know relient k

@CzarNichloas Just because they're christian doesn't mean they have to sing just Christian songs. Look at Relient K. They're Christian.

Exactly. You just need to look.
Too bad they've broken up now. ;c

dude. I have to agree with you. I'm a Christian and I can't stand it when people say the love God and all that and then are complete jerks!
I hate it when they think they are so much better then everyone else and go around condemning people. That's just wrong.
But I can't say I'm perfect. No where near!!! x3 But I just thought I'd just say this. You make a good point.
...
I do like this song, though ^^

That is so true! ^^ Sometimes, though, I can find their metaphors to be a little confusing or hard to decipher, but sometimes the deeper meaning jumps out at me. They are a very unique band :)
Omg, people, don't take the lyrics so literally! Falling Up is know for being metaphorical in there songs, so think metaphorically!!
