Ninth MPC video. I have a lot to say about this one.

Well, after a half-year-hiatus, it seems that I've finally returned! Though this game has plenty of masterpieces, as far as music goes, I've done the song "Wandering Ghosts" from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. This song plays when Alucard is in the Colosseum area of Dracula's castle. I decided to do this one because of the distinct salsa-feel it has, setting it apart from most, if not all, of the game's songs.

This is my fastest MPC yet, bar none. The main part is a blistering 3400! I needed to account for every last note, and I needed a high tempo like that to do so.

Thanks to Friedfischer, for recording. My new notebook can't handle this kind of recording, so I needed a recorder, and he did a great job! Also, thanks to SatoshiLyish for making the Mario Paint Orchestra v1.04 soundset, as it seriously made this composition awesome.

  • I love the intensity that's in this that the original was lacking

  • That's exactly the type of feeling I was going for. I wanted it to be a bit more intense than the original version, good to see it turned out that way!

  • Jesus Christ, why is it so god damn fast?

  • Well, you see, I needed to make it fast enough to be able to have both sixteenth notes and sixteenth triplets, which made it amount to a tempo of 3400. Now, I'd appreciate it if you didn't make annoying comments like that, being that I have no time for trolls.

  • this sounds like festival medieval age dance hahahah

  • This must've taken you a long time to make, I'd say about 6-8 Months altogether? Or longer o_o

  • It's very good, tough it plays a little too fast. I'd say 1/4 slower would be PERFECTION.

  • its not exactly but it will do til later

  • @GoodtimeSlim You're right, you're not one if you think this is off.
