This is a demo of an exercise we use to build some circumductive power in the freestyle stroke during during the shoulder extension / propulsive phase. Notice the device maybe an "ab" wheel yet we concentrate on the wheel rolling under the chest and no movement at the hips. The Stuart McGill "brace" is in full effect so that there is no energy leak. The chain is added later once the movement is mastered and a static core can maintained. There are several other ways we add resistance and they will come in future videos.
