At MacWorld 2009 Apple announced a few new changes to iTunes: First, DRM-Free music. All of it within a few months. Second, three prices: $0.69, $0.99, and $1.29. Third, 3G downloads from the iTunes store direct to iPhone 3Gs. Noah brings you the scoop live from San Francisco.

    Phil Schiller is a slightly dull keynote speaker, and he does too many repetitions.

  • wait, wait, wait. 1:15 Did he say worlds best music player? WTF?!? iTunes only supports a couple of formats and it's slow as hell (no mater if you run windows or os x). So hurray for the worlds best music player. Apple = Nazi

  • DRM = Digital Rights Management.

    With DRM, u can't transfer ur music freely from PC to PC or from PC to your music device. There will be restriction, based on amount of times the music files can be transferred.
