pianola works well but piano tone and tuning leave as lot to desired

You seem to play the Sonata very musically,I wonder if you are a musician in contrast to others on u tube.

Thankyou - I am not a musician, just love music. I thought it would be nice to try and demonstrate how musical the pianola can be with plenty of human input.
Fitting electric pumps is a disaster!
I'll try some more ambitious pieces after my piano is tuned next week.
I know it doesn't really compare with a real pianist (just been watching Arrau Sonata 32 :-)) - but it can be pretty good, and is good fun

i just dont get why they made player pianos that dont track the notes!! thats half the fun, i have learnt to play lots of stuff from mine that way! anyhow great piano have a lovley tone, you will have to post some more when you get it tuned!

Thanks - it is great fun 'playing' the rolls. Notice that the keys don't move on a British player piano. We were much too serious for that kind of thing :-)
