Beautiful song and sentiments. Willow tree plant lore confirms the symbolism. The willow tree was said to be a place where the grieving and sad would come to lay their sorrows, leaving them there for the willow tree to bear. Therefore, the Willow tree is a type of Christ, for he bears our sorrows, and "with his stripes we are healed." The scriptures also speak of the Tree of Life having healing leaves... I could go on, but the tree symbolism is truly beautiful to connect to Emma.

A lovely song and beautiful video. I wish I had known the story about the Willow Tree when I visited Nauvoo. I have always felt nothing but love and awe for Emma. She was pushed beyond the normal breaking point time after time. That she was able to rise, and continue to move forward is a testament of her noble character. That she was able to build the Kingdom on Earth, and inspire, support, assist and empower the prophet of the Restoration, secures her rightful place by his side for eternity.
A truly beautiful song, helps to put into perspective the adversities we face and the valour of endurance.
