Just messing around on July 4th at the gym. Use heavy weights for calf growth. Make sure u extend as far as possible when letting the weight down to get that full stretch for optimum muscle growth. Use steady, controlled movement, not like those people jerking the weight at only a 50% range of motion. They will see NO GROWTH that way
