  • Is it just to hold the coils or has some purpose for ?? Eddys?

  • @7h7gn7fh, i am not sure of the question. however, what i have in the video is a how to construct a PMA.

    sam

  • @emagnets I think he was referring to the extra wire intertwined within the coils. I'm assuming just to hold it in place? Very nice build though :) Just one question though, why do you only use bends in your coils and not complete coils (circles)?

  • @azterik yep, the interwinding is just for holding the main coils together.

i find that the serpen coil gives me more volts at much lower rpm.

  • What's the purpose of the copper wire holding the 3 sets of winding together (at 4:19 you can see the bright copper single thread around the 3 coils)?

  • @7h7gn7fh, it is just that. to hold the coils together and no additional function.

  • cool work 2 thumbs up

  • Where's Ron Jeremy? The bad 70's porn music in the background totally discredits anything you do.

  • Some very nice work you have done.

Keep up the good work my friend.

  • WOW! this is what i call a nice winding!!! Great job! I am thumbing you up right now!

  • how many string of copper in every coil bundle?

  • @ReignbowSmite *precise

  • I would imagine you would have to be pretty prescise with this project. I am guessing it can spin at a pretty good speed, you wouldn't want it ripping itself apart. Thanks for sharing this video! :)

  • Ok thanks; it looked that way but wanted to check; am going to build axial flux alt for next project; this video helped me a lot. Thanks v much
