you could have just found mac compatible parts, and used a legal copy of mac os x with the chameleon bootloader.

It won't boot up it just gets stuck at the apple without the spinny thing

it wont let me use the "mac os install dvd" mounted file as a source. then if i try to use the .dmg it says "Could not find any scan information. The source image needs to be imagescanned before it can be restored."
im lost.
can you help me?
