Relaxing melody so much I nodded off. The man was a true gift to the world. I miss him so much.

So simple yet so elegant, if it was possible to make a guitar sing, this man could do it.

To compare Chet Atkins with the Ventures is like comparing a pound of gold to an ounce of copper. There has never been a more copied guitarist. Even the Ventures admit their Walk don't Run was inspired by Chet's more jazz like version. There are many wannabes but there was is and ever will be one Chet Atkins.

@CharlesMartel0732 Thank god for that!! It's so cheesy, and it gives me motion sickness bleurrrgghh! I would rather hear the true sound, especially of a player this good. But thanks for your comment.

@kaaren56 Yes, it's a different take on this tune. I don't know when Chet recorded this, but it sounds a lot like the stuff that Les Paul used to do on his radio show. Lots of artists played with that sound when it was new and fresh; only a few stuck with it (like The Ventures).

The electronic mucking about with this piece, that echoey sound, completely ruins it for me.
