I've been accused of teaching heresy because I give advice on "Christian dating" some Christian don't believe in dating and say that dating isn't biblical - here is my take on the issue.

  • I mean if we want to do relationships and dating the way it was back then, our parents should still be choosing our partners for us like Abraham did for Isaac. What's important is Doctrine not culture or the tradition. As long as it's done in a way that doesn't violate fundamental doctrine then there is nothing wrong with Christian dating

  • I feel u on dateing. But 10 commandments? Hu, why would you bring that up? How can one follow 10 commandments without following moses law?

  • @Choose1Life Are you joking?

  • i agree with you

  • Congratulation!!! I agree with your every word. There should be more open-minded Christians like you, than there are conservatives. :)

  • I think arranged marriages and introductions would be very useful in the modern church to avoid confusion and avoid sin. I wish churches would do this :(

  • Showin this to my parents

  • Thank you! Good answer...

  • I've never heard of that term, Biblical Culture. You're absolutely right. Christian dating differs from the "world's" views (or Biblical Culture) on dating. I believe that is why so many are confused and backsliding. There is no clear distinction between what Christians believers and what Non-Christian believers believe. Music is a major one of them. If you listen to contemporary, hip-hop, or jazz gospel music, it sound just like a secular music. Also, misinterpretation of the scriptures.
