It doesnt matter what height you are, Because she coud of got him when she was small and a good jumping pony like that they are hard to sell on but when she will get to big for him she will obviously sell on ! people Please dont argue over one silly thing ! Great riding by the wayy :)
@Liviiax I know this is way too late but its an average size arena you just need to look for your fences and keep your leg on up to a couple of the tighter turns aproaches and you should be fine.
everybody im not sayig shes too HEAVY for the pony im saying its just not right.i know its hard to explain but if you are over 5 foot definetly dont ride anything smaller than 12 hands.your legs dangle and you look out of porportion. also my showjumping trainer (international jumper) says never get a pony too small for your body porportion, it makes it look like the pony is working more than you, when you are soposed to work as one fluent motion.
ummm my welsh pony stallion is 11.3 and im 15 and 5'3. When i ride him i look tall but not huge. And it's the 20% rule...horses/ponies can carry 20% of their own weight for harder activities. For light activities (walk/trot trail rides) they can carry 30% of their weight.
let me just say this: YOU NEED A TALLER PONY IF YOU ARE 15 AND ARE RIDING A 11 HH PONY YOU ARE A MIDGET OR YOU NEED A NEW ONE! nothing is going to change my mind so dont try
@chelsiemoultie you can ride any height of pony when you're 14, you just can't enter clases restricted to ponies 12.2hh and under :)

I don't know if you're in the UK but since I moved here I noticed that ponies jump way higher than the ones in the states...
