Abc 7 news helicopter in Los Angeles #Carmageddon

Just a few minutes after ABC 7 joined the Citizens Against Media Helicopters fan page on facebook their helicopter returned to hover over my house. I know that a minute of this isn't bad, but they've been here since 5am, and yesterday they started at 6.20am and didn't leave until after 1.30am. The news helicopters are a real problem and currently they're circling the city to tell us that there is no traffic.

Previously news helicopters had reported on breaking news stories such as Britney Spears going to church, Charlie Sheen hiring a prostitute, and traffic jams that can be easily seen by their MOUNTED cameras on the freeways or on google maps.

Let's get these antiquated buzzards out of the sky.

OMG it's 2 o'clock in the afternoon and you can't sleep....You better go out and get a job and stop bitching about the very thing you think we are doing "NOTHING" BTW the helicopters are not antiquated, they are state of the art and can see you sitting in your back yard with your thumbs up your ass looking for something to complain about.

Damn this is strange for Newscopters to cover Britney Spears going to church, Charlie Sheen hiring a prostitute. TMZ must be using the helicopter. I live in San Francisco and we only use the Newscopter when there's gunfire in Oakland and San Francisco. or a wildfire in San Jose or an occupy protest in the Bay area. I''ve been to LA before when Newscopters fly over a wildfire before. I know in other cities like Chicago the Newscopter is used only when somebody gets shot in a gang ridden area
