This version of The South Wind is the most captivating of this song I have ever heard. Incredible magic. I've always loved Franco Morone's Blarney Pilgrim the most but this is outstanding, too.

John's version of this traditional folk song is wonderful and his playing is effortless! Well done. Thanks progressivo2 for positing this video. It really helped a lot when trying to learn John's subtle playing techniques.

This is so Beautiful on guitar...and travels a lot further..Wonderfully arranged tune!
Its one of the celtic tunes i remember playing when i learned to play the Tin Whistle...:-)
