I love Initial D, and I love Stabbing Westward. It only seemed natural for me to create a music video with one of their songs.
The story I am trying to tell here, is about Takumi Fujiwara's (the main character) relationship with his love interest Natsuki Mogi through the Initial D live action movie.
In case you are not familiar with the story I will give you a VERY brief backstory. Tak is a drifting prodigy (even though early on he really had no interest in the sport), due to the fact that he has been delivering Tofu every day since he was 12 to a hotel at the top of Mt. Akina (the main setting of the story, and a touge with a reputation for racing and drifting).
Tak develops a relationship with Natsuki, with whom he has gone to school with for years. Unbeknown to Tak, Natalie has been involved in an "Enjo Kosai" (translates into "compensated dating", basically she has sex with him at a hotel for money) relationship with an older business man for a number of years. As she becomes more and more enamored with Tak, she decides to end the Enjo relationship in favor of having a normal one with Tak. The business man asks her to come to the hotel for one more night before they break it off, to which she agrees.
When Nat and her "Papa" leave the hotel, they are spotted in his White Mercedes by Iggy, Tak's best friend. Iggy tells Tak what he saw. Tak becomes enraged and starts a fight, not wanting to believe what he was told.
On the way to a race, Tak spots the White Mercedes in question and follows them to Nat's house, where he exposes Nat to the fact that he knows whats going on, though Tak doesn't know that she had just said goodbye to the business man for the last time. Tak turns and runs away, leaving Nat crying in the middle of an alley.
The song is "Shame" by Stabbing Westward.
I pretty much had to do everything from scratch, including syncing up the lyrics in the Music Video parts with the music track.
Took me 9 hours, and this is my first video.
Tell me what you think.
