We break out the comunist hunk of steel afixed to the roughly hewn plank of wood and shoot a simulated simulated AQT, which is four 25 yard targets simulating a 100, 200, 300 and 400 yard man-sized target. supposed to put two rounds in each
sorry about the lack of results, I will have to remember to include those... maybe after I rotate that front sight post another 3/8 of a turn...

  • you should tuck in your elbow, you look like you're drawing a bow

  • @myltwon Its how I was taught and it works for me, I dont think that Ill change it.... do you have any good reasons why to tuck the elbow?

  • wow that's a great price! in that case I'm assuming you didn't get in in Kalifornia then? because i just bought a Yugo for 400$ and i live in Kalifornia and it looks about the same as yours. Also, what kind of groups can you get at 100 yards with yours?

  • @justinsparks888 prices around are dropping back down now, but half a year ago 400 was pretty standard for an SKS

the best groups that I've shot were 3 moa groups at 50 yards, I havnt done a whole lot of 100 yard shooting, and If I put the SKS down for any period of time I usually shoot badly with it, it is quite a bit different from anything else. Granted Ive had the trigger creep reduced by about half... but its still quite stout and really needed it before

  • nice looking yugo, how much did you pick that one up for?

  • @justinsparks888 I got this a few years ago for $280 dollars at a gun show

I had accidentally knocked over the beer of the guy who was selling it, preventing me from having a chance at lowering the price...

of course with what prices did just a couple months later I have no room to complain

  • @IssunQuixotic While I agree keeping your elbow up to form a good pocket for the butt of the rifle to nestle in, giving you a good stock weld, your elbow is up really high. It should be parallel with your shoulder. But it looks like this works for you too.
