@TraviO89 don't hate, congratulate!

(1) For many valid reasons as you must have experienced if you are a kendoka; (2) Good question, maybe he didn't even realize it; (3) Member of the Keishicho (Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department), 6th Dan, 35 years old.

I have three questions; (1) why did Nakada have to retie his Men, (2) why did he take the trouble to put his Shinai on his right side, and (3) who is he?

Wow,
the kote-men was really fast, not that i have to mention the speed of the stirke. He just hit in the second where his opponotent was "open". The last point looked for me aiuchi, but i think when you analyse it in slow-motion, you will see that yang was faster.

"Not good Kendo at all." no disrespect, but doesnt it not take a great skill in kendo to land a very basic kote-men on a Team JPN member? i just think that you are upset that JPN lost to USA and you are going to try to find something wrong and why the USA member isnt worthy of winning...thats low.

I got to practice with Yang once (I'm part of SCKO), and I must say that guy is BIG!
-
woah is that chris yang? thats the only american kendo ka that i know who is that big
-
and thats why you're a judge, am i right?
Who are you to talk about Chris Yang like that? His dedication to kendo surpasses anything you can demonstrate. The second point was perfectly fine -- whatever the spanish shinpan may have thought, that's why there are 3 shinpan to make decisions on points. And yes, I HAVE seen the Yang brothers at several taikai -- they follow the rules just fine. Everybody here respects them for their dedication to kendo, which wouldn't happen if it was "not good kendo."
