Dr. Timothy Francis Leary (October 22, 1920 May 31, 1996) was an American writer, psychologist, futurist, advocate of psychedelic drug research, and one of the first people whose remains have been sent into space. An icon of 1960s counterculture, Leary is most famous as a proponent of the therapeutic, spiritual and emotional benefits of LSD. He coined and popularized the catch phrase "Turn on, tune in, drop out."

Does anybody else recognise the song where the line 'well, its an altogether new thing!' is sampled in? i think it is my favourite sentence ever. The kids even look just like the band, I wouldn't be surprised if it was them :)

@Villageiddyit Anything is more enlightening than the Bible. But, what exactly will LSD do for your brain? Increase intelligence or awareness of subtleties not normally recognized by the abundance of "sleepwalkers" in our mundane world? I would try mushrooms, not acid. I'm not sure that pure LSD-25 or any decent acid can be found these days. (So I've heard.) Unless you know a chemist really well, you could be getting all kinds of horrible, deadly chemicals that are not LSD.
