cant kill a mack. got an old 73 at the farm rusted to fuck not a single working break on it and the same fuel from 6 years ago and no oil changes and the darn thing sat for 3 years without being ran and i put batteries in it and it fired on the first crank. Great old truck

@jlcyamaha no it was made specifically for construction work, weve owned two of these trucks. On a center cab mack you cant see around the side even if u open the door and hang out.

@MagnumPI4 yea and instead of haveing a big cab run the full width it would be lighter. allowing it to haul more. but wouldnt it throw of the ballance of a top heavy truck? so they probaly used counter wieghts or something. yea doesnt seem to smart . not to mention wouldnt it create a blind spot on the passanger side? i think the desighn was sighned off on right before the boss went on vacation. so he didnt look at it

@ericsonvt common belief is mack made these dump trucks with the cab off to the side specifically for construction so they could see easily from the driver side at a work sight. I think mack just did it to be funky ;)

Yep - built like a Mack. Ever been to Russia? Seen those Kamaz trucks? Seen those fitted out for driving in Siberia with wheels mounted on spacers so the are OUTSIDE the truck and 2½ meters in diameter.? Also the Gaz truck is unfortunately indestructable.
