I applaud the critique of bankers, but the idea that politicians (other than bankers) can be trusted is absurd. The absolute power of making money will corrupt them absolutely.

There is no clear case made against monetary metals in this film. The value of metal is that it can (virtually) not be created. If the quantity in weight or volume of the metal is an issue (which I think is only a question of the weightvalue of the coin), than a gold-silver-copper standard will circumvent the problem.

4:49 i have stopped the video. Printing money in the modern day leads directly to hyper inflation. Lincoln and Franklin did it. Big deal. They were not part of a world economy.

Printing more money without debt cannot help. Hyper inflation would destroy the country in a matter of months. Money would become useless!

The rest of the documentary is null and void if this is the premis he builds on. So no need for me to waste the next 2 hours of my life watching a fantasy.

@SloterMFmeyer i believed this much to be true before watching this film.. even the process of creating the gold money will be privatised and regulated by your favourite guess who of criminal elites. it also can be subject to supply issues within te countries where it is mined. I think that maybe on an international stage gold could be used as a world currency to purchase oil and stock options etc. its a little more complicated than we might think, sooner its solved the better
