@suprmacdaddy It's just like a comfort zone for sousaphone players.
We have kids who will leave their left arm down all together, we have some who will hold the neck/mouth piece, and we have some who cradle the bottom of the tube.
It's jsut for comfort.

Is holding the neck necessary? Or recommended? Because i just now noticed none of my fellow tubas do that, and a lot of people i see on youtube do that.

@PunkxCherub I will get better, its probably already better by the time I've posted (sorry for the delay) if not I would make sure to do cool downs after you rehearse.

Yea, I know, I didnt have time to tune, I actually was not there to stay long but I ended up visiting and making the video. the guy who is whistling is the owner of the sousaphone and its just right for him so yea...but thanks for comments guys keep em coming k. ~peace~
