@FaithfulMinistries Actually I find no basis why a woman an't wear makeup. The only thing I can think of is obedience to their pastor if thats a rule he has. I personally do not think makeup and jewelry are going to have any effect on your soul, and I've come to realize this. If it's biblically backed then follow it, if not, who cares.

@FaithfulMinistries Because God's sees makeup as a form of vanity. Read Jeremiah 4:30 for referrence. I personally believe its up to an individual to be convicted of it or not. If the person is using it to seduce such as what Jezebel did then it's wrong. But if its to cover up scars or spots then I can understand. It should be function over vanity.

@FreeWhoopin1390 - Yes. I am so glad I don't have to look "two steps from the grave" to think I am displaying holiness. I used to be caught up in that but thank God for the Holy Ghost and the living Word that leads us into ALL truth.

@Movinfwd So by foolishnes you mean Holyness standards? Like how women shouldn't cut their hair? Paint their face? Yeh I guess it's so foolish that a woman can't cut her hair. After all it's just her main symbol of holiness. No biggie right?

Just because somebody isn't UPC doesn't mean they aren't apostolic. He just preached at our church and he is definitely apostolic...he's just let go of all the foolishness apostolics are known for (leagalism) that keeps people from wanting to get saved. i am so glad for him because more souls are being reached and saved now that he's returning back to the true ministry of Jesus Christ! Acts 2:38 all the way!

oh okay well we aren't affiliated with the UPCI anymore Im pretty sure. I thought they mean't that he went like off the deep end and was charismatic or something!

He is still Apostolic, he is just not affiliated with the UPCI anymore. He has a church in Shreveport, LA.
