A Good friend and myself made this short clip for Channel 4's 'Drive' program and it got us into the last 6 and on TV. Wanted to share it with you, especially you Alfa Fans as it's a great car! He still has it after 7 years, guess he kinda likes it then.
Do let me know what you think of the filming/content etc.

  • Tempremental if you buy a shed with no history, mine have not missed a beat and

have cost less than my previous german cars to own, and about 100x better looking

too....once you've owned an Alfa romeo nothing else comes close for style and noise.

These are mass production cars at bargain prices ,Crazy....

  • Power is always there as it has a short ratio gearbox as in the twincam twinsparks,

hit 5000rpm change gear and bang 3000rpm full surge to 5000rpm gear change and again in the powerband, the twinnys take off at 3000rpm and another boost at 6000rpm fantastic stuff....cuore sportivo

  • GTV is pininfarina styling (ferrari) and has a Busso V6 (Ferrari engineer) so it is

a cheap exotic baby Ferrari, great drivers cars with added carisma and italian style.

Alfa's are all galvanised so no rust issues, electrics and fuel injection Bosch so Ok.

Although Bosch mafs can be problematic if disturbed (german reliability LoL).

  • Have 2 Alfa's owned one for last 4 years and drives like new (10 yrs old) and goes

like stink at 55,000 miles, 2.0ltr twinspark and the noise is addictive, hit the gas at 3000rpm and it howls to 7000rpm fantastic engines, have Gtv and 156 Sportwagon.

No rust , no dodgy electrics (all bosch), i wouldn't drive anything else given the choice..forza Alfa italia

  • ...I think the Gtv is one of best cars ever made!!!This video is an undisputed proof....!!!!The issue on reliability is just a myth!!Every car has its minuses and personaly I don't think newer Alfas share problems of the past!!!...by the way the music volume on the vid should be a lot lower....maybe even 0.....no music is needed with THAT ENGINE :)... ;)

  • Such a beautiful car!

  • What car doesn't have issues? No vehicle is without a design flaw. I have owned over twenty different cars foreign, import and domestic and maintain them myself. Have had many BMWs and a few Mercedes, but now have a Alfa 164 LS. I couldn't be happier with its 3.0 24v V6. ;)

  • love it.

  • Love the soundtrack
