  • @samsizil You are obviously not, nor ever were a member of any fleet air arm anywhere on earth. We use cats for US naval aircraft due to weight, aerodynamic characteristics and weapons loadout. there is a distinct advantage to each system. Not needing a cat means that a huge amount of weight and auxillary systems are not needed. The Harrier, by design, doesn't require a catapult. You simply cannot get a typical carrier attack or fighter jet of the US Navy in the air without a catapult.

  • @samsizil A lovely British invention, thank you for flying Royals! (both catapult and harriers for that matter; both of which you employ!) Yeah, its called functionalism; if you don't need to spend excessive amounts on the military we tend not to? It's called being un-retarded?

  • LMAO THEY HAVE A RAMP WERE THE HARRIERS TAKE OFF LMAO. IN THE US NAVY WE TAKE OFF WITH FUCKING CATUPULTS BITCHE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • lmao British fighter pilots hilarious. funny cuase they have a funny acent

  • @southbristolsfinest There has to be a reason for ejecting from an aircraft. Cant just do it willy-nilly when you feel like collecting a pension earlier. Why would you risk spinal injuries just to collect a pension?

  • @Titanic 19 Yea they get arrested for losing their craft once they land.

  • So what you're saying you specky bitch Is when a pilot's had enough of flying (when he's lost his nerve) he just bangs out 3 times and collects his fucking fat pension. Fuck's sake, no wonder the military is skint!

  • @naruto922shippuden yes eyesight requirements for FAA is -0.75 each eye if you're short sighted.

  • could u still have glasses and be a pilot

  • They do practice ejecting, they're must be have the trainer ejection seat somewhere on their Fleet Air Arm school. The trainer ejection seat using gas pressure instead of rocket, and attached on vertical rail. Its crucial to practice their sitting position during ejecting procedure to prevent spinal injury.
