Fire Destroy Booth High School Grand Falls-Windsor

Booth Memorial was the last High School to close in the former town of Windsor. It was completely destroyed by fire Aug 10, 2009. Former Mayor Walwin Blackmore was principal there for many years. A big thank you to all firefighters and others who worked to control the fire and its destruction.

I live really close to the ruins of it now, they've got it all cleaned up and it looks almost as though nothing had happened. Although for a while, it was quite the state. And it really devastated a lot of the older folk who used to go there. Not to mention that another of our older, abandoned schools had nearly burned down not long before. Dumb teenagers.

Sadly, I have the feeling that the season finale of Degrassi will end like this.
