Several folks here have mentioned Natalie Cole's cover of this song. I'm being very opinionated here, I concede, her version is nice, but Jennifer Holliday's version is just a sensual sigh away from being ALMOST as great as D. J.'s original....just sayin'.

One of the most under-appreciated Soul Men of all time! I play this song and "She Believes In Me" whenever I want to get back to the essence of why I starting loving this kind of music in the first place.
