ok so lets say i have a wii version of this game and i got a 3DS would the sylanders in that pack work on the wii and vics versa?

theres 32 skylanders i multiplied 4times8 = 32

This game is like so expensive if you want all of the figures! I'm just guessing but its like £200-£300.
Anyway there's a lot of confusion about this but the portals will work with any console apart from the XBOX. The XBOX has a special one so the PS3/Wii/PC/3DS portal will not work with it. And the 3DS one is the only Portal that will work with the 3DS.

lets say i wanted to buy the starter pack for the 3ds and then i bought the game alone for the wii so i could play with my brother,would the portal work for the wii and the 3ds? or are there separate portals for each platform?
