The private companies who get contracts don't want unions..... it cuts in their profit...less for DeMint's campaign contributions...

Gee, many of our union members are straight out of the military- fresh back from Iraq, Afghanistan- desert storm, Viet Nam, and in the past Korea 7 WW2. One vet asked me- Why was I fighting in Iraq to secure collective bargaining rights for Iraqis and then I cannot have them here at home? I know some vets I would like you to look in the eye and call them lazy and a threat to U.S. security you idiot.

Gee, I've worked hard since I was old enough to stand up and never took a handout from anybody and EARNED what I made. I have a right to expect fair compensation. Crap about all union workers being lazy is dumb. If I make a million dollars for the company I think I should get a bonus rather than the CEO getting a bonus for my hard work. He spent most of his time in Europe, the Bahamas, and sitting on other corp. boards sucking the life out of them while we were doing the work. Screw u.

Let's see: Airport Police are union, pilots are union, flight attendants are union, re-fuelers are union, mechanics are union, the people who launch the space shuttle are union, the people who maintain Air Force One are union, the people who ran into the Twin Towers to save people- union- the baggage screeners at the airports cannot have a union? This guy is bought off by contractors- they are in the process of contracting them all out and contractors don't want employees to have a union.

@bry3921 That's a joke, right? Otherwise, I can only assume that you've had your head up the "drive-by" media's ass for the past year. Although, why should YOU worry about anything anyway? U don't need to worry about things such as a paycheck and taxes, bcuz Obama just redistributes the working folk's paychecks anyway. So sit back and enjoy other people's money for now. Is this guy really serving in the senate? What happened to our great nation? Take your freemarkets and half formed opinions about the economy and talk to the mirror so you have someone who agrees with you and thinks your erudite..Shit! The unions brought decent wages, respect, and a chance for a working man to raise a family. Every concession from the bosses was paid for in BLOOD, and broken backs.
