Not really. in Quantum mechanics you can't visualise space in the ecuation like ordinary algebra. you have to use complex numbers (imaginary and real numbers) to get the probabilities. There are different interpretation of the thoery but that is not important, the important thing is to do the equations. You have to understand the formulas, because they are abstract and you can't vicualize them. Like string theory with 11 dimensions, you should do math, not try to vosualize the dimensions

@S2Cents It depends upon the person, of course. One need only look to Fred Hoyle for an example of an extreme irrational attachment to a theory. Fred was an outlier, however. Einstein, e.g, had an irrational preference for Steady State, but when presented with Hubble's work, acknowledged the new data and changed his thinking. Fortunately, nature has a way of dealing with stubbornly irrational people. Fred Hoyle is now Dead Fred. Making for 1 less proponent of a thoroughly discredited theory.
