My second music video in a series of more to come; Credits for background music, South Rampart Street Parade, performed by Acker Bilk and Bourbon Street Parade by Al Hert. This video captures a snapshot of what was a typical day at work at Provincetown Airport during the summer of 1986. As many will agree, working for PBA was fun Company that cared greatly for its employees, as we all still share many great memories and good times of that era. So with that I dedicate this video to all who worked or flew on PBA. Anyone wishing to add their video can leave me an email and I'll be glad to digitize, edit, add graphics, music and post it up on YouTube. Thanks for watching... Dennis...

  • Thank You for the great memories! I worked as a Ramp Agent at KHYA (Hyannis, MA) in 1986. My boss was Lou Lynch. We had a blast that summer. Boy how aviation has changed and the quality of Ramp Agents. I am still in aviation and love it. Cheers.

  • Found the ATC abbreviation: PBA--wondered if that's what ATC called them, "PBA123 turn left heading 290, descend and maintain 3000"?

  • Great videos. As with everything, I was born about 10 years too late!

What was PBA's ATC abbreviation and callsign?

  • What's with all the stashes? These guys look like they're in the Special Republican Guard. Seriously though, great footage of the tail end (so to speak) of the era of the DC-3 as a passenger plane. The Cessna 402's somehow pale in comparison. Is that a huge early-80's-style boombox coming out of the cockpit?

  • Dennis,

Great Video!! This brings back so many fun memories.

    Thanks again!!!

  • Dennis,

Thank you for posting this video. It's amazing how quickly your mind skips back to that time when you see things like this. Please post all you have!!!
