@lspn1965 There was a bike build off? I remember OCC and PJD building a snowmobile and a rolling chassis.

@starguard did you not see the big west coast choppers truck and trailer following them? I'm sure they made sure that the bikes would always have enough fuel to get there.

Someone please tell me something....
How on earth do those guys ride in the desert like that on those bikes? Anyone thats been in the desert knows that some of those gas stations are close to 100 miles apart. How do they make it across on bikes with such small gas tanks?

Indian Larry's bike is well-engineered/well-built. It goes well, handles well, and stops well.

Regarding good handling under fast-moving conditions, overly-long and raked-out forks are not a good idea. Sonny Barger thinks so too.
