and If you think this genocide of the natives was only an American thing... your mistaken. Look at what the Spanish explorer Cortez did when he invaded Mexico. as well as Christopther Columbus's slaves he made of the natives he found on the islands. Not that its an excuse for what happened, but just saying we werent the only ones being crewl to the natives.
You could even go back as far as the Roman Empire to see what they did to the German natives(Barbarians) as they were called.

Not True. Had they not have presented the Declaraton Of Independence than yes they it would have been a civil War.But when they presented that document, it disolved all pollitical bands from England, Making them free and independent states. Now Old King George didnt accept this Declaration, scoffed at it .. and sent troops in to occupy what he still deemed as "colonies". we had a suprize waiting for them at Lexington Green.

@mradamgooding the thirteen colonies in 1776 was around 2.4 million and that 85% of whites where of British descent, 9% German and 4% dutch so that backs up the theory that it was more of a civil war on foreign soil. And all British bashing by Americans should remember that it was British descendents and probably recent immigrants from Britain that gave the land that came to be known as America its independence. Simply put it was British people who escaped persecution back home who then rebelled

@mradamgooding The truth is many of the revolutionists in america were British people it was more of a British civil war fought on foreign ground, but many Americans will say today that we Americans beat you British without realising at that time it was a British colony (British settlers). I really do hate it when american's try to claim that the british really cared about the war at the time. there was next to no trade compared to the rest of the world. so why would they bother trying to keep it?
