  • Nick moves his picking hand right down to the bridge for the solo while when he's playing rhythm he moves up to the "sweet spot". Great guitar -I assume it's his original 1925 special that Gibson made for him.

  • A friend told me I reminded her of this song..... Hehehee I'm rossie ;)

  • @levanakosher ...love Nick Lucas !!!...but with all due respect, the "father of Jazz guitar" is Eddie Lang

  • NL not only magnificent singer but also known as "father of jazz guitar" , Nick was truly great

  • Holy wow! A Google search revealed that Dylan play a "Nick Lucas Gibson".

  • @JRobson1955

I THINK THIS IS NAMED AFTER HIM

    "THE NICK LUCAS MODEL" GIBSON.

  • HIS SINGING REMINDS ME A LITTLE BIT OF AL JOLSON.

HIS GUITAR PLAYING REMINDS ME OF HANK SNOW....

LET´S SEE HAVE I FORGOTTEN ANYTHING...

OH, YES I LOVE GIBSON GUITARS !

P.S. I THINK NICK LUCAS IS GREAT.

  • Love it. NL is a recent discovery for me via Tiny Tim. Anybody know what kind of guitar this is? It's almost "parlour" size (oo). Lead, bass and rhythm all at once! Similar to Piedmont style in that respect.

  • Excellent performance. Wish there was more of this in today's 'music'.

  • Thank God they don't write anything like this anymore
