Gosh, how many PBS stations are there that have their own local newscasts?

Don't know about now, but back then, WOUB's TV and radio newsroom, largely student staffed, did a credible job of covering news in southeast Ohio and West Virginia.

@jcburns I'm sure there were a good number that did if there was some adequate funding for it. I wish my town's PBS station did something like that. Best I saw was a weather forecast segment shown during prime time during the 90's.

Thanks for the note- I did double-check. I didn't realize that her show had been cancelled. It's a shame, since her show was one of the smartest on what is now KTMY-FM. I haven't listened in a while since everything else on the station is so awful. :(
