For another friend, the requested clip of Tonio Reyes' death on the 35th anniversary episode. Watching these scenes reminds me of how soaps once did classy action/location sequences. A year and half later Doug Marland inexplicably returned Tonio to the living and gave him the most ignominious death ever -Duncan tripped Tonio in a jungle hut, Tonio hit his head, and died instantly from a cerebral hemorrhage!

Breathtaking...and not just Duncan's chest!! For some reason I remember this Sabrina having less of a British accent and not looking so much like Julianne Moore.

Cool clip. I always wondered what this scene was like. Tonio was a great ATWT villain. Wonder why no attempt has been made to bring his character back.

This probably aired on Thursday, March 28, 1991.
(Tonio died during the week of March 25-29, 1991. At the end of the episode that aired on the 27th, Duncan was running toward the helicopter.)

@0814ma Thank you. Someone sent me a tape of all CBS soaps from this date. I assumed it was correctly dated because of the 35th anniversary promos for ATWT, but upon reviewing every episode, I can verify that it is from Thursday, March 28, 1991. The promos for that night's programming leaves no doubt. I appreciate the correction.
