I used to think they were simply rivals.But now I'm changing what i thought and believe they are friends instead.They cherish each other because they are rivals!Hope they move along together!

Actually,I wonder this as well.Looks like Kimi smiled first,then Fernando saw and smiled,too. As to the reason,I'm afraid only they know XD. But it's sweet,isn'it? :D

I realized Alonso has lot of respect for Kimi. I think the reason is Kimi's character. He is very likable unlike lot of other drivers. Kimi respects the talent of Alonso as well. I remember an interview where he refers to Alonso sitting next to him when he was asked how the experience of world champion title change him (Kimi says amicably, 'you have to ask Fernando')

I didn't hear him talk trash. He said that Kimi was fine but that Alonso was perfect for the team now. Kimi didn't seem too happy at Ferrari - remember when Prost was there? He wasn't happy either. It isn't for everyone. Maybe Fernando will like it - if so, good for him! Meanwhile, these two always seem like competitive friends. But Kimi likes Heik and Seb best, he said so. Alonso - I don't know who he likes...
