  • Nice job. I inherited a 72 F-48 and love it

  • Just bought an F47rce a couple months ago. I played a lot of Martins, Taylors and some Larivees but I fell in love with the Guild.

Advice to anyone buying a guitar, listen to your own ear and buy what YOU like. I went into the process with a high budget and planned on getting a Martin but the prefender Guilds are AMAZING.

  • Beautiful. I have a sunburst F47 purchased new in 1973, made in Westerly, Rhode Island. It came with Grover tuners, so they obviously realised the mistake you've highlighted here! the thing that gets me is the sound, it's EXACTLY the same as mine sounds (maybe I should not be surprised, but they are both around 40 years old now). You're very lucky to have found this. Thanks loads for posting the vid.

  • Wow, that guitar sounds great -- as does your playing and singing.

What is the back wood? Is it maple? Rosewood? Is the guitar all solid woods?

Thanks for sharing this look at a great little guitar.

  • Nice :-) Sounds pretty :-) How is it for strumming???

  • beauty!
