"Does This Monologue Make Me Look Fat? " excerpt: Lesbian For A Weekend (meet n' greet).

"Does This Monologue Make Me Look Fat?" is the first solo show from Minneapolis actor/writer Amy Salloway (who went on to create "Circumference" and "So Kiss Me Already, Herschel Gertz!"). A collage of seven different stories united around the themes of body image, sex, loneliness and relationships, the play is a sometimes hilarious, sometimes achingly honest look at the search for love and affirmation...and what happens while they're taking a reaaally long time to show up.

This clip is from one of the very first performances of "DTMMMLF?", at the Jungle Theatre in August, 2004 -- during the Minnesota Fringe Festival. Since then, the show has gone on to performances at theatres, Fringes, solo show festivals and events all over the US and Canada (and has grown quite a bit!).
