There are many obscene comments here, most of which have nothing to do with what Mr. Phillips said. I don't know him, but I do know what happened in that classroom. Virtually nothing Phillips has said about it actually occurred. There was no altercation. Instead of enforcing the class's cellphone rule, the teacher returned the student's phone, making a harmless joke which most of the students got. No threats were made. The teacher is well-liked. Mr. Phillips is a liar. Those are the facts.
