Taipei: Day 3

Our third day in Taipei we stopped by a nearby Confucius temple for an early morning chant.

Afterwards we rented some bikes and cycled along the bike paths parallel to the river. We also stopped for a midmorning work out at some fitness stations along the route. Our final destination was Bali, where we dropped the bikes off and took a ferry to Tamsui (also written as Dansui and Tansui on some signs we saw).

For dinner we had shorompo (sp?) which is a meat bun soaked in savory soup. We also tried Taiwan's variation of General Chow's chicken. (I'm guessing the American version was modeled after the Chinese/Taiwanese version, but wouldn't it be awesome if it was the other way around? Yeah... not likely I know but still...)

The girls wanted to get massages. Josh and I said we'd do a 30 minute leg massage, but communication broke down at some point and we endured an hour long back, arms, legs, and feet massage that was painful and boring and time wasted that could have been spent drinking beer...

@jaxcolon the massage made me tense... i was afraid he was gonna break something... my two thoughts were:

1: I should be doing something fun like drinking beer...

2: This would be better with a hot chick masseuse, because A. it wouldn't be nearly as painful and B. I like hot chicks...
