Launch of the new Whitmore Eclectic Theater Company

The late James Whitmore has left a legacy with the new Whitmore Eclectic Theater Group on La Brea in Los Angeles. Headed up by his extremely talented family including son James Whitmore Jr. (director of NCIS, The Good Wife, and the new Hawaii 5-O TV series) and Aliah Whitmore the young Creative Director/actress, and Jacob Whitmore, Production designer, will produce a 5 play 6 month theater calender offering the public various theatrical and educational workshops. This theater company consists of some of the most brilliant minds in emergent American classical theater. The troupe was founded to honor the artistic vision and commitment to public education of the late James Whitmore. Productions including Sam Shepard's TRUE WEST on September 9th, the award winning BRIAR ROSE (Oct.14) and Orson Welles adaptation of Herman Melville's MOBY DICK(Nov 11th) are rare theatrical treats upcoming.
