2008 Snowshoe Jeep Jamboree The Other Side trail

this is the group i was w/. i'm driving the stock 4 door. there is also a 2 door rubi jk, a 2 door unlimited tj, a 1991 bad ass 4banger yj, and a 1974 cj5.

thanks it's a standard. i've owned a few cj2a's, 2 auto yj's and 1 standard yj, and my 6 speed jk. in my experence when your in a real off road situation it doesn't matter. your trans is in 1st gear and the transfer case is in 4low.

I prefer stick even if it's just for how much easier it is to rock a stick to jump it out of a hole or over something. Auto has some good advantages too but lol how many of those stalled Jeep's were automatics? I am sure at least 1 was

yes your right. allthough both have thier ups and downs for most off road a standard trans is the best way to go. the gearing is better, the control is better and you can also use your motor for breaking(compression brake).
