I get yelled at for lofting the ball at my alley when it's too dry....just because he's pro doesn't mean he can't get yelled at...I mean I guess he can pay for the lanes if he messes up the wood or w/e he's bowling on.

I remember being a Jr. bowler and getting talked to for lofting. My loft was no where near this extreme. How things have changed.

@TyRTi Really it makes a lot of sense. Even if he grabs a weaker ball, that doesn't change that the heads are trashed. Weak or strong, the ball probably still would have hooked off his if he didn't loft it. That's the disadvantage to two-handed bowling. It's hard to not tear the cover off the ball every shot.
