I got the inspiration to write this song after hearing many stories of friends who had loved ones go off to war and the hardship that comes with saying goodbye. This song goes out to anyone who has a loved one who are over seas. Thank you to our military who are fighting for our country and to the loved ones they leave behind, stay strong ♥

My boyfriend left for Army Basic Training in September. Im driving all the way to Fort Jackson, South Carolina from Texas in two weeks, so I can see him graduate and get to spend 2 days with him.. I am beyond ready. Going from talking and seeing him every single day, to waiting for 5 short letters every week is extremely hard. But it has made me stronger...
