Celebrity Chef Todd English talks "green" with Ted Turner and George McKerrow Jr., owners of Ted's Montana Grill. More than 200 restaurateurs joined English, Turner and McKerrow in Boston for a spirited and sometimes humorous discussion about ways restaurants can go green and how even small changes can lead to a big impact for the planet. www.tedsmontanagrill.com

  • CAPTAIN PLANET!!!

  • Considering phonetic vibe association: The name LYNN begins sounding like LINDa and public directories show a LYNN C. Seay (b. Mar 1953) at 359 Huskey Road, Bryson City, NC 28713 is unrelated to a teenage interest in the Siberian Husky breed, probably quite popular in Sarah PALIN's Alaska or LYNNE & Dick Cheney or Sen. Alan Kooi Simpson (son of milWARD LEE Simpson) of WYOMING. MARTINi glass begins like MARTIN Luther king Drive, on which KENneth R. Williams Auditorium is located.

  • Apparently, Mrs. Seay grew tired of working in public education since the internet trail lead to a site showing her working as a real estate agent with Intracoastal Realty Corp at 1900 EASTwood Road, Suite 38, Wilmington NC 28403. Public directories show a LINDA B SEAY (b. 1949) at 2400 luMINA Ave., WRIGHTSville Beach, NC 28480. WRIGHTsville Beach is unrelated to John McCain introducing Sarah PALIN to the nation on his 72nd birthday (ToDD English's 48th) on the campus of OH's WRIGHT State Univ.

  • Just as ToDD English said "CHILL DOWN" in reference to the drinks in martini glasses, assistant principal SEAy requested that the students talking, murmuring and milling about in the gym bleachers, "CHILL DOWN". The students erupted into howls of laughter, believing Mrs. Seay had intended to say, "chill out", an expression popular with the teen set in 1987. Like at K.R. Williams Auditorium--200 miles away and four years later--it took about a minute for order to be restored @ the high school gym

  • Alice Walker getting sarcastic with Mayor Woods in PALINdrome 1991 sent K.R. Williams Auditorium into delirium for at least a minute (who knows if Walker's attack was unprovoked). The last time I'd witnessed young, "ethic" crowd become so raucous when a white lady was at the mike came four years earlier, in high school in 1987. That's when the new assistant principal, Linda B. Seay, was addressing her new students for perhaps the first time in an assembly and made an unfortunate choice of words

  • William ToDD English shouldn't be confused with ToDD PALIN, even though PALIN's spouse, Sarah Louise HEATH PALIN was unleashed on America by 2008 Republican nominee John SIDNEY McCain (b. 1936), who shares an AUG. 29th birthday with English (b. 1960). Alice Walker was born in EATonTON, the seat of Putnam County, Georgia--named for French & Indian War hero IsraEL Putnam. When tart-tongued Alice Walker appeared at K.R. Williams Auditorium in 1991, she got quite salty on the mike with Mayor Woods

  • I saw ToDD English in the show focusing on INDIAN cuisine within 48 hours of recalling an event from my life in PALINdrome 1991. Specifically, the mayor of Winston-Salem, NC, MARTha SWAIN Wood had been invited to a lyceum event at the KENneth R. Williams (238-58-479) Auditorium featuring "The Color Purple" author aLICE Walker. FEB. 25, 2010 was 24,123 days after Walker's Feb. 9, 1944 birth. ToDD English isn't TODD PALIN, spouse of half-term Alaska gov. Sarah PALIN--though 1991 is a PALINdrome

  • I saw ToDD English on a PBS program in the predawn hours of FEB. 25, 2010 in which he was on location, exploring the cuisine of INDIA. He spoke with an executive of the country's national airline and in one pivotal scene, he shared a drink with another person from two large martini glasses. He said of the drinks (paraphrased, but close to exact):

We'll give that a second to CHILL DOWN

Crucially, English did use the exact phrase, "CHILL DOWN"

It's also key WHEN i saw this show

  • I've never seen a Ted's Montana Grill location and have never tasted bison meat, but the concept sounds interesting. Surely, Ted Turner is one of those people the terms "globalist" and "internationalist" applies to. I've always thought he was an interesting fellow--a man marching to the beat of his own drum.

Speaking of internationalists, you know they show up a lot on public television. I became aware of ToDD English watching PBS on the local UNC-TV digital channels in 2009.

  • Todd English always looks like he's been smoking dope.

Squinting thru little bloodshot eyes, smirking like he's trying not to laugh at everything.
