We took a boat to Martillo Island to catch the last of the seasons penguins. They laid and hatched their eggs. The youths had left the island. And, the 200 or so elders left on the island were tending to their nests before going out to sea for another 9 months. Penguinos, as the Argentines call them seem to be more water bound than land dwellers.
